Read the Bible in a Year

Starting January 1st or you can do it anytime. Here is a link to a reading plan. A simple class that surveys the entire Bible. It will provide a great basis for going deeper in your faith. Every follower of Jesus should read the Bible in its entirety at least once, but making Bible reading a part of your daily life helps. This will help develop the habit of daily Bible reading.

Ocean Grove Senior Living Worship

We aim to follow Christ's teaching to take care of the widows/widowers. We do this by sharing Christ's gospel with the residents of the Seaton Assisted Living Facility with a full Christian service every Sunday and special events to encourage the residents with love, compassion and a sense of community for those who attend the service and the ones who come our way. We minister weekly to about 16 - 20 residents. The preaching is done on a rotating basis by men and women from St Pauls and other churches(Baptist, Assembly of God, Calvary Chapel, etc).

Some of the special events that the ministry has hosted are: lunch about every six weeks, Christmas parties, High Tea, crafts with youth volunteers from other churches, etc. We are hoping to host a bible study during the week and special events on Sunday afternoons.

We are recruiting volunteers to help on a rotating basis with greeting, music, singing, preaching, leading bible study, crafts, and special events. Call Josephine Braneky for any information @ 973-650-8218 or Josephine.Braneky@gmail.com.

Anchored Small Groups

Jesus changes lives and the world. What’s more, we believe the next generation is changing the world with in a relationship with Jesus Christ. They have an entrepreneurial spirit with a global vision. This generation may be anti-institutional, they want to be a part of a movement. Good news for us: that’s precisely what the Church is—God’s Kingdom movement. We have a big vision for our students and that starts in Anchored Small Groups where students encounter Jesus; get empowered by the power of the Holy Spirit and fellow followers of Jesus Christ; and help others navigate their world and become part of the Kingdom movement.

Connect Over Coffee

Connect Over Coffee Women’s Group

Mondays from 7pm-8pm in the Parlor

Ladies, with all the challenges we take on in life, do you ever take time to ‘decompress so you can address’? Or do you just tell your already-overwhelmed self just put your head down and keep going?

If this sounds familiar, this one’s for you:

Monday nights starting October 16th, you’re invited to a relaxed, casual hour with other women to enjoy a warm cup of coffee (decaf or tea), from 7-8pm in the Chapel. It’s like meeting up at our own coffee house; only there’s no cost, excess noise, or waiting for a booth. Bring anything that’s on your mind because, chances are, you’re not alone. Even if you’re simply looking for a social opportunity, don't be surprised if you end up blessing others by sharing your experiences when God granted you peace and the success to overcome! Through the good, tough, crazy, hilarious times, and everything in between:

Let’s be there for each other while seeking His Word for answers. -Mathew 11:28

Slow Flow Christian Yoga

Tuesdays, 11/7-12/19, 5:15p in Fellowship Hall.

Treat yourself to an hour of self-care, mindfully connecting with God through breath work with gentle movement and meditation to enrich your body, mind, and spirit. All levels welcome.

In Christianity, we practice kindness, gratitude, mindfulness, respect for self and others, stillness, and prayerful, worshipful movement. Some of the Christian spiritual disciples require quiet the mind, breathe to energize the body, and apply breath to movement to strengthen the body and grow the spine through gentle stretches. Our goal is to feel stronger in body, mind, and spirit during class and apply that renewed strength while outside of class.

Participants should bring their own yoga mat, water, and desire for growth. Props, such as yoga blocks and straps to assist with postures, are optional. A blanket or large towel for support and/or padding is suggested. Please contact me with any questions via email (wernerhy12@gmail.com) or phone (609-306-2958). No pre-registration required, donation offering towards Church ministry and mission is voluntary. Please arrive a few minutes before class begins to settle in and prepare for practice.
